Ingredients

  • 2 pounds beef short ribs
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 8 leaves lettuce leaves
  • 1 whole lemon
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. 1

In a bowl, whisk together the 1/4 cup soy sauce, 2 tbsp honey, 3 minced garlic cloves, and 1 tbsp sesame oil.

  2. 2

Place the 2 lbs beef short ribs in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Turn to coat evenly.

  3. 3

Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours for deeper flavor.

  4. 4

Heat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Remove ribs from marinade, letting excess drip off.

  5. 5

Grill ribs for 4-5 minutes per side, until nicely charred and internal temperature reaches 145°F for medium.

  6. 6

Let ribs rest for 5 minutes, then slice between the bones.

  7. 7

Serve ribs with 8 lettuce leaves, lemon wedges from the 1 lemon, and 1/4 cup fresh parsley for wrapping.
