Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 whole eggs
  • 1.25 cups milk
  • 1 lb fresh strawberries
  • ½ cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar

Instructions

    Preheat waffle iron. Mix flour, eggs, milk, 1 tbsp sugar, and a pinch of salt in a bowl until just combined.

    Pour 1/3 cup batter into the iron and cook until golden brown and crispy, about 3–4 minutes per waffle.

    While waffles cook, whip heavy cream with remaining 1 tbsp sugar until soft peaks form, about 2 minutes.

    Slice strawberries in half. Stack warm waffles on a plate and top with whipped cream and strawberries.
