Ingredients
- 10 oz fish cakes (eomuk), sliced into 1/4-inch rounds
- 2 tbsp gochujang (Korean red chili paste)
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 stalks scallions, cut into 1-inch pieces
- ½ tbsp sesame seeds (white or black)

Heat 1 tbsp oil in a large skillet over medium-high until shimmering, about 60 seconds.

Add fish cakes and cook without stirring for 2 minutes until the bottom edges turn golden.

Stir the fish cakes, then push to the side of the pan and add garlic to the empty space.

Cook garlic 30 seconds until fragrant, then add gochujang and sugar and stir to combine.
