Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs littleneck or manila clams, cleaned
- ¾ cup dry white wine
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- ¼ cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 4 slices crusty bread, sliced
- 1 whole lemon, cut into wedges

Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat, about 60 seconds until it shimmers.

Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds, stirring constantly, until fragrant but not brown.

Add clams, cover the skillet, and cook for 6–8 minutes until shells open. Discard any that don't.
