Ingredients

  • 8 oz spaghetti or linguine
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 4 clove garlic cloves, thinly sliced
  • ½ cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 pinch salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

    Boil a large pot of salted water. Add pasta and cook until al dente, ~9 minutes.

    While pasta cooks, heat butter in a 10-inch skillet over medium until foaming.

    Add sliced garlic and cook 60 seconds until fragrant, stirring constantly.

    Add breadcrumbs to the butter, stirring often, until golden brown, ~3 minutes.

    Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water, then drain pasta.

    Add hot pasta to the skillet with breadcrumbs. Toss, adding pasta water until glossy.

    Season with salt and pepper. Divide between bowls and serve immediately.
