Ingredients
- 2 whole pomegranates, fresh
- ¼ cup pomegranate seeds (arils), reserved
- 1 cup ice cubes
- 1 tbsp honey or agave (optional)

Cut pomegranates in half and hold over a bowl. Tap the back with a spoon to release arils into the bowl.

Pour arils into a fine-mesh strainer. Press firmly with the back of a spoon until juice flows freely.

Divide ice between two tall glasses. Pour juice over ice, filling three-quarters full.

Stir in honey if desired. Top each glass with a handful of whole pomegranate seeds.
