Ingredients
- 1 whole young coconut (green, with soft shell)
- ½ whole lime
- 4 cubes ice cubes

Hold the coconut upright and use a sharp knife to cut away the top third of the husk in a circular motion until you expose the white shell underneath.

Chip through the exposed white shell with the knife tip until water begins to drip, then enlarge the hole to fit a straw.

Insert a bamboo or metal straw and sip the water directly from the shell, or pour into a glass with ice.
