Ingredients
- 4 slices White bread slices
- 4 slices Ham slices
- 4 slices Roast beef or pastrami slices
- 3 slices Swiss cheese slices
- 2 tablespoons Butter
- 2 tablespoons Butter
- 2 tablespoons All-purpose flour
- ½ cup Beer (lager or pilsner)
- ½ cup Beef broth
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- ¼ teaspoon Salt
- ⅛ teaspoon Black pepper

Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add flour and whisk continuously for 2 minutes to create a roux.

Gradually add beer and beef broth, stirring to prevent lumps. Simmer for 5 minutes until thickened.

Butter both sides of all bread slices. Place 2 slices on a cutting board or work surface.
