Ingredients

  • 1 loaf (about 10–12 oz) store-bought pound cake
  • 4 oz butter, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 set food coloring (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple)
  • ½ cup licorice allsorts candy
  • 2 tbsp sprinkles or edible glitter (optional)

Instructions

    Slice pound cake into 6 thin horizontal layers using a serrated knife.

    Beat butter and powdered sugar together until fluffy, about 2 minutes.

    Divide frosting into 6 small bowls and tint each with a different food coloring.

    Spread one color of frosting on each cake layer, stacking them to build height.

    Press licorice allsorts around the top and sides until covered.

    Chill 2 minutes if time allows, then slice and serve.
