Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry
  • 6 fresh figs
  • 2 tbsp berry jam
  • 6 fresh sage leaves
  • 1 tbsp powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. 1

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Roll out the 1 sheet puff pastry on a parchment-lined baking sheet and prick it all over with a fork.

  2. 2

Slice the 6 figs into 1/4-inch rounds. Arrange the fig slices on the pastry, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges.

  3. 3

Warm the 2 tbsp berry jam in a small saucepan over low heat until runny, about 1 minute. Brush the jam over the figs and pastry border.

  4. 4

Scatter the 6 sage leaves over the figs. Bake until the pastry is golden and puffed, about 15-18 minutes.

  5. 5

Let the tart cool for 5 minutes, then dust with the 1 tbsp powdered sugar before serving.
