Ingredients
- 1 whole croissant, fresh
- 2 whole large eggs
- ½ ounce cheddar cheese, sliced or shredded
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 to taste salt and pepper

Crack eggs into a bowl. Whisk with a fork until well combined.

Slice the croissant horizontally. Melt 0.5 tbsp butter in a skillet over medium-high.

Place croissant halves cut-side down in the skillet. Toast until golden and crispy, about 90 seconds.

Transfer croissant halves to a plate. Add remaining 0.5 tbsp butter to the skillet.

Pour in eggs. Let sit for 15 seconds, then gently push scrambled curds to the edge.

Continue stirring until the eggs are soft and barely set, 90 seconds total. Season with salt and pepper.

Top the bottom croissant half with scrambled eggs. Sprinkle cheese over warm eggs.
