Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour, heat-treated
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ½ cup brown sugar, packed
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 whole pasteurized large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ¾ cup chocolate chips

Instructions

    Microwave flour in a microwave-safe bowl for 1–2 minutes, stirring halfway, until it reaches 160°F. Cool completely.

    Beat softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy, about 2 minutes.

    Add pasteurized eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition until fully incorporated.

    Stir in vanilla extract until combined.

    Fold in cooled heat-treated flour until no dry streaks remain.

    Fold in chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
