Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked pulled pork
  • ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes
  • 2 cups coleslaw mix
  • 4 hamburger buns

Instructions

  1. 1

In a small bowl, whisk together the 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar, 1 tbsp brown sugar, and 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes until the sugar dissolves.

  2. 2

In a large skillet over medium heat, warm the 2 cups pulled pork with the vinegar mixture, stirring occasionally, until the pork is hot and the liquid is mostly absorbed, about 5 minutes.

  3. 3

In a separate bowl, toss the 2 cups coleslaw mix with 2 tbsp of the hot pork liquid (or a splash of vinegar) to lightly wilt it.

  4. 4

Pile the hot pork onto the 4 hamburger buns, top with the coleslaw, and serve immediately.

  5. 5

Optional: add a drizzle of extra vinegar sauce or a sprinkle of black pepper for more tang.
