Ingredients

  • 1 pound beef sirloin
  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ cup water

Instructions

    Slice beef into thin strips, about 1/4 inch thick, against the grain.

    In a bowl, mix peanut butter, paprika, salt, pepper, and water into a paste.

    Coat beef strips thoroughly with the spice paste. Marinate for 30 minutes.

    Thread strips onto string or skewers, leaving space between pieces.

    Hang in a dry, airy place (or use a dehydrator at 160°F) for 12-24 hours until dry and chewy.
