Ingredients

  • 1 large (about 12 oz) cucumber
  • 4 slices (white, wheat, or sourdough) bread
  • 3 tablespoons cream cheese or butter
  • 1 tablespoon, chopped fresh dill
  • ½ whole (juiced) lemon
  • 1 pinch each salt and pepper

Instructions

    Slice cucumber into 1/8-inch rounds. Place on a paper towel and blot dry.

    Spread cream cheese evenly on all four bread slices.

    Layer cucumber slices on two of the bread slices, overlapping slightly.
