Ingredients
- 1 loaf (8 oz) Cuban bread or hoagie roll
- 4 oz deli ham, sliced
- 4 oz roasted pork (mojo pork or carnitas), sliced
- 2 oz Swiss cheese, sliced
- ¼ cup dill pickle slices
- 1 tbsp yellow mustard
- 1 tbsp butter, softened

Slice Cuban bread in half horizontally. Spread mustard on bottom half and butter on top half.

Layer ham, roasted pork, and Swiss cheese on the bottom half.

Scatter pickle slices evenly over the cheese.

Close the sandwich and press gently so layers compress.

Heat a skillet or griddle over medium-high until a drop of water sizzles, ~2 minutes.

Place sandwich on the hot skillet and press with a spatula or heavy lid for 3 minutes.
