- 12 count wonton wrappers
- 2 tablespoons neutral oil
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ⅛ teaspoon white pepper or sesame seeds (optional)

Cut wonton wrappers diagonally into 2 triangles each. Separate any that stick.

Heat oil in a 10-inch skillet over medium-high until it shimmers, about 90 seconds.

Add half the wonton pieces in a single layer. Cook without stirring for 90 seconds.

Stir and cook another 60–90 seconds until all edges are golden brown and crispy.

Transfer to a paper towel. Repeat with remaining wonton pieces.
