Ingredients

  • 2 whole corn tortillas
  • 8 count large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • ½ tsp chili powder
  • 1 whole avocado, ripe
  • 1 whole lime
  • 2 tbsp cilantro, chopped (optional garnish)

Instructions

    Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high until shimmering, about 90 seconds.

    Toss shrimp with chili powder and salt. Sear 90 seconds per side without stirring until pink and opaque.

    Char tortillas directly over the flame or in the dry skillet until crispy and spotted, about 30 seconds per side.

    Slice avocado and lay it on each warm tortilla. Top with shrimp, squeeze lime over everything, garnish with cilantro if using.
