Ingredients
- 2 medium green plantains, peeled
- 1 cup shredded pork (rotisserie or cooked)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp lime juice
- 1.5 cups neutral cooking oil for frying
- 1 pinch salt and black pepper to taste

Cut plantains into 2-inch rounds. Heat oil in a deep skillet over medium-high until it shimmers, ~2 minutes.

Fry plantain rounds 2–3 minutes per side until light gold. Drain on paper towels.

Press each warm round flat with a cup to form a shallow bowl shape. Fry again 1–2 minutes until edges curl and deepen to golden brown.
