Ingredients

  • 6 oz ground pork
  • 4 count frozen baked buns (or 4 small bakery buns)
  • 1.5 tbsp soy sauce
  • ½ tsp black pepper (coarsely ground)
  • ½ tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp white sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. 1

Brown ground pork in a skillet over medium-high heat, breaking it apart with a spoon, until no pink remains, about 4 minutes.

  2. 2

Stir in soy sauce, black pepper, and sesame oil. Cook until fragrant, 30 seconds.

  3. 3

Slice each bun horizontally and divide the warm pork mixture evenly among all four bun halves.

  4. 4

Sprinkle sesame seeds over the pork filling on each bun half.

  5. 5

Return the filled bun halves to the skillet, filling-side down, and press gently for 2 minutes until golden and crispy.

    Serve warm.
