Ingredients
- 6 oz ground pork
- 12 count square dumpling wrappers
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp scallions, chopped
- ½ tbsp ginger, minced
- ¼ cup water
Instructions
- 1
Mix ground pork with soy sauce, scallions, and ginger until combined.
- 2
Place 1 tsp filling in the center of each wrapper. Wet edges with water, fold into a triangle, then pinch the sides to seal.
- 3
Heat 2 tbsp oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until it shimmers, about 90 seconds.
- 4
Arrange buns flat-side down in the skillet without overlapping. Don't move them for 3 minutes until bottoms turn golden and crispy.
- 5
Pour the water around (not on) the buns. Cover and steam for 4 minutes until wrappers soften and water evaporates.
- 6
Serve hot with chili oil or soy sauce for dipping.
