Ingredients

  • 1 lb gnocchi
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 8 leaves fresh sage leaves
  • ½ cup parmesan cheese, grated

Instructions

  1. 1

Heat 2 tbsp butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat until it shimmers.

  2. 2

Add gnocchi in a single layer and let it sear without stirring for 4 minutes until golden brown on the bottom.

  3. 3

Stir gnocchi and cook another 3 minutes until most pieces are crispy and light golden all over.

  4. 4

Push gnocchi to the edges; add remaining 1 tbsp butter and sage to the center, mashing sage to release flavor.

  5. 5

Toss everything together until gnocchi is coated and sage is fragrant, about 1 minute.

  6. 6

Divide between bowls and top with parmesan cheese; serve immediately while crispy.
