Ingredients

  • 8 oz ground chicken
  • 20 count wonton wrappers
  • 1 tbsp ginger, minced
  • 2 stalks scallions, chopped
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil

Instructions

  1. 1

Mix ground chicken with ginger, scallions, 1 tbsp soy sauce, and a pinch of salt until just combined.

  2. 2

Place 1 tsp filling in center of each wonton wrapper. Wet edges with water, fold in half, then bring corners together and press to seal.

  3. 3

Heat 1 tbsp oil in a 12-inch skillet over medium-high until it shimmers, about 90 seconds.

  4. 4

Working in batches, add dumplings flat-side down and cook without moving for 3 minutes until bottoms are deep golden brown.

  5. 5

Flip each dumpling, add a splash of water to the skillet, cover, and steam for 2 minutes until filling is cooked through.

  6. 6

Whisk remaining 2 tbsp soy sauce with sesame oil and serve as dipping sauce alongside dumplings.
