Ingredients

  • 12 count frozen beef meatballs
  • 2 count hoagie roll or sub roll
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • ½ cup fresh mozzarella or low-moisture mozzarella, sliced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions

    Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high. Add meatballs and cook without stirring for 2 minutes until edges brown.

    Shake the pan or stir meatballs, breaking up any clumps. Cook 3 more minutes until the surface is mostly browned.

    Add minced garlic and stir for 30 seconds until fragrant, then pour in marinara sauce.

    Simmer for 2 minutes until sauce is warm and meatballs are heated through.

    Split rolls open and line with mozzarella slices. Spoon meatballs and sauce into each roll.
