Ingredients
- 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
- 6 tablespoons butter, cold, cut into small cubes
- ¾ teaspoon kosher salt
- 4 tablespoons water
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.

Mix flour, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Cut in cold butter until mixture resembles coarse sand.

Add water 1 tablespoon at a time, stirring until a shaggy dough just comes together.

Roll dough between two sheets of parchment paper until very thin, about 1/16 inch.

Transfer to baking sheet. Prick all over with a fork to prevent puffing.
