Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 whole eggs
- ¾ cup milk
- 3 tbsp butter, melted
- 1 lb strawberries, hulled & halved
- ½ cup heavy cream, cold

Preheat waffle iron. Whisk flour, 2 tbsp sugar, 1.5 tsp baking powder, and pinch of salt in a bowl.

Whisk eggs, milk, and melted butter in another bowl until smooth. Fold wet into dry until just combined.

Whip cold heavy cream with 1 tbsp sugar until soft peaks form, about 90 seconds.

Pour 1/3 cup batter into greased waffle iron. Cook until golden brown and edges crisp, about 3 minutes.
