Ingredients

  • 1 whole bagel (any variety)
  • 1 whole large egg
  • ½ whole avocado
  • 1 slice cheddar or American cheese slice
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 pinch salt and black pepper

Instructions

    Split the bagel and toast it until golden and crisp, about 3 minutes.

    Heat butter in a small skillet over medium-high until foaming, about 1 minute.

    Crack the egg into the skillet. Cook without stirring until whites set but yolk still jiggles, 3–4 minutes.
