Ingredients

  • 4 links knackwurst or bratwurst sausages
  • 3 tbsp ketchup
  • 1.5 tsp curry powder
  • ¼ medium onion, minced
  • 2 count bread rolls
  • 1 tbsp butter

Instructions

    Heat a skillet over medium-high. Score the sausages with diagonal cuts, then fry them for 8–10 minutes, turning occasionally, until the casing splits and they brown deeply.

    Push the sausages to the side. Add minced onion to the pan, stir, and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

    Stir in ketchup and curry powder, coating the sausages. Toss for 30 seconds to combine.

    Warm the bread rolls in the oven at 350°F for 2 minutes, or slice and butter them in the skillet for 1 minute until golden.

    Divide sausages between rolls. Spoon any curry-ketchup pan sauce over the top and serve hot.
