Crispy Chili Avocado Toast

Ingredients

  • 2 slices sourdough bread
  • 1 whole ripe avocado
  • 1 tbsp chili crisp (Lao Gan Ma or similar)
  • ½ tsp everything bagel seasoning
  • ½ whole lemon
  • 1 pinch fleur de sel or maldon salt

Instructions

    Toast the sourdough until the edges turn golden and the surface is crispy, 2–3 minutes.

    Halve the avocado, scoop the flesh into a bowl, and mash with a fork until chunky.

    Squeeze the lemon half into the mash and stir gently. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper.

    Spread the avocado evenly across both toasted slices.

    Drizzle 1 tbsp chili crisp over each slice, then sprinkle with everything bagel seasoning.
