Ingredients
- 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- ¼ cup parmesan cheese, finely grated
- ¼ teaspoon paprika or garlic powder
- ⅛ teaspoon black pepper
- ⅛ teaspoon salt
Instructions
- 1
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper so the cheese won't stick to the metal.
- 2
In a small bowl, mix the 2 cups shredded cheddar, 0.25 cup grated parmesan, 0.25 teaspoon paprika or garlic powder, 0.125 teaspoon black pepper, and 0.125 teaspoon salt until fully combined.
- 3
Drop small mounds of the cheese mixture—about the size of a quarter—spaced 2 inches apart across the parchment, pressing each mound flat with the back of a spoon.
- 4
If using an oven: set to 350°F and bake until the crackers turn golden-brown with darker edges, about 6–7 minutes. If using a microwave: cook at high power for 2–3 minutes until the surface looks dry and slightly bubbled.
- 5
Remove the baking sheet from heat and let the crackers cool on the parchment for 3 minutes—they will firm up as they cool.
- 6
Once cool, peel the crackers off the parchment and transfer to a plate or storage container.
