Ingredients
- ½ lb ground beef
- ½ medium onion, finely diced
- 8 sheets phyllo sheets
- ½ tsp ground cumin
- ¼ tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tbsp pomegranate molasses or lemon juice
- 3 tbsp olive oil

Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat, breaking it up with a spoon, until no pink remains, ~5 minutes.

Add diced onion to the pan and cook, stirring, until softened, about 2 minutes.

Stir in cumin, cinnamon, pomegranate molasses, salt, and pepper. Cook until fragrant, 30 seconds. Remove from heat and cool slightly.

Lay one phyllo sheet flat. Brush lightly with olive oil. Place 1 tbsp beef mixture on the lower left corner, then fold into a triangle by folding corner over corner.

Repeat with remaining phyllo sheets and filling to make 8 triangles.

Heat 3 tbsp olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Pan-fry triangles until golden brown and crispy on both sides, 2 minutes per side.
