Ingredients

  • ½ lb beef sirloin or flank steak, thinly sliced
  • 5 oz crispy chow mein noodles
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (bell pepper, snap peas, carrot), cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • ½ cup chili sauce (sriracha, sambal, or store-bought chili sauce for serving)

Instructions

  1. 1

Heat 1 tbsp neutral oil in a large skillet over high heat until it shimmers, about 1 minute.

  2. 2

Add beef slices and cook without stirring for 90 seconds until the bottom browns, then toss and cook another 90 seconds until no pink shows.

  3. 3

Push beef to the side, add vegetables, and stir-fry for 3 minutes until crisp-tender and edges char slightly.

  4. 4

Crumble noodles into the skillet, then pour soy sauce and sesame oil over everything and toss until coated, about 2 minutes.

  5. 5

Divide between bowls and serve with chili sauce on the side for dipping.
