Ingredients

  • 8 oz chow mein noodles (fresh or crispy chilled)
  • 10 oz beef sirloin or flank steak, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups, chopped mixed vegetables (bell pepper, snap peas, onion, carrot)
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp neutral cooking oil

Instructions

    Cook chow mein noodles according to package. Drain and set aside.

    Heat 1 tbsp cooking oil in a large skillet over high heat until shimmering.

    Sear beef 90 seconds per side without stirring until browned. Remove to a plate.

    Add remaining oil to the skillet. Stir-fry vegetables until tender-crisp, ~4 minutes.

    Add garlic, stir for 30 seconds until fragrant. Pour in soy sauce and sesame oil.

    Return beef and noodles to the pan. Toss everything for 1 minute until coated. Serve hot.
