Ingredients

  • 12 count wonton wrappers
  • 1 large apple, diced small
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • ¼ cup caramel sauce

Instructions

    Toss diced apple with brown sugar and cinnamon until coated.

    Place 1 tsp apple mixture in the center of each wonton wrapper.

    Wet the edges with water, fold into a triangle, then fold the two corners together to seal.

    Heat 2 inches of oil in a skillet to 350°F or until a piece of wrapper sizzles immediately.

    Fry hand pies in batches 90 seconds per side until golden brown and crispy.

    Drain on paper towels. Drizzle with warm caramel sauce and serve hot.
