Ingredients
- 8 oz Italian sausage, casings removed
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 8 oz penne
- ¾ cup heavy cream
- ½ cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Boil penne in salted water until al dente, ~9 minutes. Reserve 1 cup pasta water, then drain.

Brown sausage in a large skillet over medium-high, breaking it up as it cooks, about 5 minutes.
