Ingredients
- 8 oz pasta (penne or fettuccine)
- 10 oz mushrooms, sliced 1/4-inch thick
- ¾ cup heavy cream
- ½ cup Parmesan cheese, finely grated

Boil salted water in a large skillet, add pasta, and cook until al dente, ~9 minutes.

Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water, then drain pasta and set aside.
