Ingredients

  • 20 pieces round dumpling wrappers
  • ½ pound ground pork
  • ¼ cup crab roe
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon ginger

Instructions

  1. 1

In a bowl, mix the 0.5 lb ground pork, 0.25 cup crab roe, 1 tbsp soy sauce, and 1 tsp grated ginger until well combined.

  2. 2

Gradually stir in the 0.5 cup chicken broth, 2 tbsp at a time, until the mixture is moist and slightly sticky.

  3. 3

Place 1 tbsp of filling in the center of each wrapper. Pleat the edges to seal, leaving a small opening at the top.

  4. 4

Arrange dumplings in a steamer lined with parchment. Steam over boiling water until the filling is cooked through and the skins are translucent, about 10 minutes.

  5. 5

Serve hot with black vinegar and ginger slivers if desired.
