Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups jasmine or long-grain white rice
  • 1 can (13.5 oz) coconut milk
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • ½ tsp salt

Instructions

    Rinse the rice under cold water until water runs clear.

    Pour coconut milk into a medium pot and add 1 cup water.

    Stir in rice, sugar, and salt, then bring to a boil over medium-high heat.

    Reduce to low, cover, and simmer until rice is tender and liquid absorbs, about 15 minutes.
