Ingredients

- 2 slices American cheese slices
- 2 buns hamburger buns
- ½ tsp salt

Divide ground beef in half and form two patties about 3/4 inch thick; press a small dimple in the center of each.

Heat a skillet over medium-high until a drop of water flicks sizzle, then cook patties without moving for 3 minutes.
