Ingredients

  • 6 slices bacon strips
  • 4 slices bread (white, wheat, or sourdough)
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 medium tomato, ripe
  • 2 leaves lettuce (romaine or iceberg)

Instructions

    Cook bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy, about 6 minutes. Transfer to paper towels.

    Toast bread slices until golden brown, about 2 minutes per side.

    Spread 1 tbsp mayo on one side of each of 2 bread slices.

    Layer 3 bacon strips, tomato slices, then 1 lettuce leaf on each mayo-spread slice.
