Ingredients

  • 1.5 cans (15 oz each) canned chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 3 tablespoons maple syrup or agave
  • 2 tablespoons tahini
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

    Add chickpeas, cocoa powder, maple syrup, tahini, and vanilla to a food processor.

    Blend 1–2 minutes, scraping the sides once, until completely smooth and creamy.

    Taste and add a pinch of salt. Pulse once to combine.

    Transfer to a serving bowl. Serve at room temperature or chilled.
