Ingredients

  • 1.5 cans (15 oz each) canned chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 3 tbsp tahini
  • 2 tbsp harissa paste
  • 1 whole lemon (juiced)
  • 1 whole garlic clove, minced
  • 3 tbsp ice water

Instructions

    Add chickpeas, tahini, harissa, lemon juice, and garlic to a food processor.

    Pulse until roughly combined, about 5 pulses.

    Add ice water one tablespoon at a time while blending until smooth and creamy.

    Taste and adjust harissa for heat or lemon for brightness.

    Transfer to a serving bowl. Drizzle with olive oil if desired.
