Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • ½ cup mixed nuts (e.g., almonds, walnuts)
  • ½ cup dried fruit (e.g., dates, raisins)
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp water

Instructions

  1. 1

In a food processor, pulse the 1 cup oats and 1/2 cup nuts until finely chopped, about 30 seconds.

  2. 2

Add the 1/2 cup dried fruit, 2 tbsp cocoa powder, and 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup. Pulse until the mixture sticks together when pressed, about 1 minute.

  3. 3

If the mixture is too dry, add the 1 tbsp water and pulse again. It should hold together easily.

  4. 4

Roll the mixture into 12 balls, about 1 inch each. If sticky, wet your hands slightly.

  5. 5

Refrigerate for 15 minutes to firm up. Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
