Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups rotisserie chicken, shredded
  • 1.5 cups cooked rice (white or basmati)
  • 4 sheets phyllo dough sheets
  • ½ medium onion, finely diced
  • ½ tsp warm spices (cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg)
  • ½ cup plain yogurt
  • ¾ cup tomato sauce

Instructions

    Toss shredded chicken with rice, diced onion, warm spices, salt, and pepper in a bowl until evenly mixed.

    Lay one phyllo sheet on a clean surface, brush lightly with oil. Divide chicken-rice mixture evenly and roll tightly into a log, folding edges as you go.

    Heat 3 tbsp oil in a 12-inch skillet over medium-high. Sear each rolled phyllo log 4-5 minutes per side until golden and crispy.
