Ingredients

  • 1 9-inch pie crust
  • 1.5 cups granulated sugar
  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Instructions

    Preheat oven to 350°F. Place the 1 pie crust in a 9-inch pie pan and crimp edges.

    In a large bowl, cream 1/2 cup softened butter and 1.5 cups sugar until light and fluffy, about 2 minutes.

    Beat in 3 eggs one at a time, then stir in 1 tablespoon flour, 1/4 cup milk, 1 teaspoon vanilla, and 1/4 teaspoon salt until smooth.

    Pour the filling into the prepared crust.
