Ingredients
- 2 packages ramyeon noodle packages (Korean instant noodles)
- 6 oz shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 whole eggs
- 2 slices American cheese slices or mild cheddar
- 2 tbsp green onion, chopped
- ½ tsp gochugaru (Korean red pepper flakes)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 pinch salt and black pepper to taste

Bring 4 cups water to a boil in a large pot over high heat.

Pat shrimp dry with paper towels. Season with salt and pepper.

Add noodles and seasoning packets to boiling water. Stir and cook 3 minutes until slightly softened.

Add shrimp and garlic. Simmer 2 minutes until shrimp turn pink.

Create two wells in the noodles. Crack eggs into each well, cover, and cook 2 minutes until whites set.

Add butter and cheese slices. Stir until cheese melts and coats noodles, ~1 minute.

Remove from heat. Sprinkle gochugaru and green onion on top.

Divide between two bowls. Serve immediately while hot and cheese is melty.
