Ingredients

  • 8 oz char siu (barbecued pork)
  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 3 stalks green onions
  • ¼ cup cilantro

Instructions

  1. 1

Cook the 8 oz egg noodles in boiling salted water until al dente, about 4-5 minutes. Drain and rinse with cold water to stop cooking.

  2. 2

In a small bowl, mix 3 tbsp soy sauce and 2 tbsp honey until combined. Set aside.

  3. 3

Slice the 8 oz char siu into thin strips. Heat 2 tbsp vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat until shimmering.

  4. 4

Add the char siu strips and stir-fry until edges are slightly crispy, about 2-3 minutes.

  5. 5

Add the cooked noodles and the soy-honey mixture. Toss everything together for 2-3 minutes until noodles are evenly coated and heated through.

  6. 6

Slice the 3 green onions thinly. Remove noodles from heat, top with green onions and 0.25 cup cilantro leaves. Serve hot.
