- ⅓ cup (3 oz) whole milk
- 2 oz (optional, for pre-heating cup) water

Fill the ceramic cup with hot water and set aside for 30 seconds to preheat, then empty.

Pull a double shot of espresso (about 2 oz) into the preheated cup.

Steam the milk in a milk pitcher until it reaches 150–155°F, tilting the pitcher to create a whirlpool.
