Ingredients
- 2 whole, cut into wedges limes
- 4 tbsp granulated sugar
- 4 oz cachaça (or white rum)
- 1 cup, crushed or roughly broken ice cubes
- 4 leaves, optional fresh mint leaves
Instructions

Divide lime wedges and sugar between two rocks glasses or tumblers.

Muddle gently until limes release juice and sugar dissolves, ~30 seconds. Don't pulverize the pith.

Fill each glass to the brim with crushed or roughly broken ice.

Pour 2 oz cachaça into each glass and stir to combine, ~10 seconds.

Tap a mint leaf to release oils and drop into each glass if desired. Serve immediately.
