Ingredients

  • 2 shots (or 1/4 cup strong brewed coffee) espresso
  • 8 oz whole milk
  • 1 tsp (optional) sugar

Instructions

    Pull 2 shots of espresso into a ceramic cup or pour 1/4 cup strong brewed coffee.

    Heat milk in a small saucepan over medium heat until steaming (small bubbles at the edge), ~2 minutes.

    Pour hot milk into the espresso, holding back the foam with a spoon to let the liquid flow first.

    Top with a thin layer of milk foam. Serve immediately.
